About the Role

Programmed Skilled Workforce is seeking experienced Trade Assistants to join our team on a casual basis. In this role, you will support metal fabrication processes, including grinding, polishing, and general maintenance tasks using hand and power tools. This position is essential within the manufacturing, transport, and logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with metal fabrication, grinding, and polishing tasks
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
• Report any issues or concerns to supervisors promptly
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Trade Assistant, Fettler, or similar role
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
• Commitment to safety and compliance with workplace standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical fitness and stamina for manual tasks
• Fork Lift licence an advantage
